SECRET SPOILER Unlock super secret zone: The Promised RemedySPOILER WARNINGThroughout Ittle dew 2, you can find secrets, and some secrets have even more secrets inside them. This secret is for players who really want to 100% the game and fight a TOP SECRET ULTRA POWERFUL BOSS.
This boss fight has NO bearing on achievements or the plot of the game and can be entirely passed over without changing your game experience or missing out. However you need an item from the secret final dungeon of the game BEFORE this to even DAMAGE the boss.
Hence the spoiler warning.Warning aside: To unlock 'The Promised Remedy', you must find every Box of Crayons in the game. You have to have maximum HP Capacity. This means findinc every Secret Shard, doing secret cave after secret cave, clearing every main dungeon. You have to have all 4 Forbidden Keys and have the Final Item from the Tomb of Simulacrum: The Explosive Flaming Chainsaw Shotgun. This is the ONLY thing in the game that damages the boss of The Promised Remedy.Assuming you have done all the dungeons, all the secrets, all the hearts, and have the EFCS, you must go to the Frozen Court. There's two portal worlds in that area.
March 26 – Sapporo – Hotel Sapporo Geibun Royal Hall. April 10 – Sendai – Sun Festa 1F Event Hall. Love live school idol festival after school activity. May 8 – Osaka – Umeda Sky Building Aura HallWatch the debut trailer below. April 24 – Nagoya – Fukiage Hall. April 3 – Hakata – Hakata Star Lanes.
The one we need is 'Lost City of Avalopp'. You'll know it when you see it. It resembles a sewer with green tentacles throwing snot balls at you. In one of the rooms, there is a cracked wall on the lower left. Hit it with your Melee weapon and enter. There will be a Hexrot there chanting at an altar in front of a picture of a potato with a smiley face.
In this room there are 2 more breakable walls. Directly south of the entrance of the room which opens up a secret tunnel, and one at the end of that tunnel. Once you're through, you'll be past the wall and in the same room as the chanting Hexrot.REMINDER: You must have EVERY heart available.
You'll know you're done when the last heart on your life gauge has a smiley face on it.Now what you must do is stand in between the painting of the potato and the altar. For SEVEN real-time minutes. Do not tab out if you're on PC. Do not pause. Just let the game run. For 7 real time minutes. It is incredibly dull but just wait.
I recommend playing a mobile game to kill the time. After you've sat there for 7 minutes of listening to the magic carrot wizard man chant at a potato, you'll be warped into the secret zone 'The Promised Remedy'. There's no enemies here. Just a creepy dungeon with the secret hardest boss in Ittle Dew 2. He cannot be damaged by anything other than the EFCS you got in the Tomb of Simulacrum.
You will have to be pretty good with the Dodge button.Good Luck, Adventuring Addict. Have a health potion when you're done.Contributed by:Starbuncle. Frogmode (hardmode)On the name entry screen, enter your name as 'frogmode'.When starting the game, Ittle will be replaced with a frog and start with only one heart instead of five. This is effectively hard mode. This also changes cutscenes, 'Ittle' will have no dialogue and occasionally says nihilistic things instead.

Ludosity’s sequel to their indie hit Ittle Dew is a phenomenal Zelda-like action/adventure game that captivated me right from the get-go. Its irreverent attitude, delightful visual and aural design, clever puzzles and engaging toolkit all merge together to provide one of the best experiences in the genre I’ve come across yet.Exposure to the previous game isn’t required, as this game dumps Ittle and her flying fox partner Tippsie into an entirely new island where they need to gather up eight raft pieces to be able to continue drifting across the ocean. The promise of adventure is overpowering, but one denizen is not keen on Ittle taking on the many dungeons and puzzles lurking about the many realms of the island, and works to prevent Ittle from succeeding on her adventuring.
She takes it all in stride, and Ittle quickly became a wonderful heroine of daring-do full of spunk, and I really grew to like her as the game moved on.Her inventory begins with a lowly stick, but as she dives into dungeons or wanders into side quest puzzle rooms, she gains more tools to expand her attack and puzzle-solving options. These include an ice ring, which makes an ice block she can slide around; the force wand, which lets her attack and push blocks from a distance; dynamite, which does what you expect it to; and finding better primary melee weapons that are lit on fire to ignite certain parts of the environment. Ludosity has given these four weapons a lot of unique combinations for the player to sort out, which makes for some great brain-bending moments where you realize you can use two of the tools together to solve the room’s challenge.
It’s great stuff and makes each area a delight to roam.Another plus is the game’s visual design. Each area may riff on a stereotypical locale common to games, but the developers make it just that extra bit weirder to help it stand out. Sure, there’s a snowy area, but it’s also a graveyard with a very powerful enemy who stalks Ittle around. We have a volcanic realm, but it’s themed as a fascinating hybrid of peppers, bananas, chips and stageshow western. The game loves throwing in these disparate elements, and it goes a long way towards making each location super memorable.
The soundtrack is also exceptional, perfectly accommodating these wacky worlds with pitch-perfect songs that match each. The game is not flawless, but its problems are few and far between. The bosses repeat a fair amount, which the game does go out of its way to mockbut it’s still noticeable. Also, they tend to be less puzzle-oriented than Zelda games, typically just coming down to learning patterns and smashing attack when they’re open.

The game also doesn’t really clue you in on the nature of using your tools in tandem, so expect to experiment around a lot when you get to a room you can’t quite solve how to get through. The devs seemed to realize this and coughed up an obscene number of lockpicks to bypass locked doors as a sidequest perk, which is really just a bandaid for the issue.Beyond that, though, I loved Ittle Dew 2. I don’t typically go completionist on a title unless I adore it, and I kept plugging away at the game’s hidden rooms to get to the final dungeon and beat the ultimate boss, so I consider that a promising sign I adored something. I didn’t get any of the collectible cards, but maybe down the road. But I can give this a hearty recommendation; it’s joining my Top 50 in the near future!
